=== STRUCTURE ===
**Line 1 — The Specific Thank-You**
Not "thank you for your time." Reference a specific moment from the conversation.
"Really enjoyed the conversation yesterday, especially the tangent on [specific topic]."
**Line 2-3 — The Value Add**
Reference the interviewer's insight AND add to it. Show you kept thinking about it after the call ended.
"You mentioned [their insight]. I kept thinking about it last night and realized [your additional angle or resource]."
**Line 4-5 — The Strategic Cleanup (OPTIONAL)**
If there was one question you could have answered better, this is your chance to redo it cleanly:
"One follow-up on the question about [topic]. On reflection, what I wanted to say was [cleaner, better answer]. Wanted to make sure that came across clearly."
**Line 6 — The Forward Move**
End with confidence. Not "I'm excited about the opportunity" fluff. A direct statement about what you'd contribute.
"Thanks again — even more energized about this role after our conversation. If useful, I'm happy to send [a writing sample / a specific doc / a reference] as next steps."

- Specific over generic in every sentence
- Send within 24 hours (12 is better)
